The Elder Grove is a small-batch botanical company making goods that care for skin and spirit, one batch at a time.
The Elder Grove began with a simple belief: everyday care should be slow, considered, and grounded. The things you reach for every day should be made from ingredients you understand, by someone who cares how they turn out.
So we started with one product and set out to make it well. Our lotion balms are built on a short, honest base of beeswax, shea butter, and nourishing oils, then scented with blends of pure essential oils. Every new scent is tested drop by drop before it becomes a full batch, and every batch is measured, melted, and poured by hand.
Care that is quiet, gentle, and rooted in respect for the natural world.
How we make things
We work in batches of twelve. That keeps every puck consistent and lets us adjust a recipe the moment something isn't right. We'd rather make fewer things well than make a lot of things fast.
We choose ingredients for what they do, not how they sound on a label. Beeswax seals in moisture. Shea and coconut soften. Jojoba and sweet almond absorb without leaving you greasy. Vitamin E keeps the oils fresh. That's the whole list.
Where we're headed
Lotion balms are just the beginning. Over time the grove will grow into other natural and holistic goods, from candles to body care to handmade pieces for the home, all held to the same standard: simple ingredients, made with intention, by hand.
